We are a volunteer-driven organization. We have volunteer opportunities on our construction sites most Wednesdays and Saturdays and at our ReStore Wednesday through Saturday.

The Habitat for Humanity of Effingham ReStore is
located at 3605 GA HWY 21 S in Rincon. The store is open Thu. - Sat. from 9 AM to 5 PM. The sale of new and gently used donated goods supports our projects. Donations drop-off hours: Wed. - Sat. 9AM to 4PM.
We completed the construction for this build and are working on the getting the loan finalized for the homebuyer. We have been awarded two grants and have received funds from several major sponsors. We still need to raise additional funds to cover the total costs of the build. All gifts help us with provided attainable homeownership for our partner families.
Become a Homeowner
Habitat houses are simple, decent, and affordable. They are modestly sized, big enough to fit the homeowner’s needs but small enough to keep construction and maintenance costs low. Habitat uses quality, locally available building materials. Habitat’s home designs reflect the local climate and culture. The labor of volunteers and partner families, efficient building methods, modest house sizes and non-profit loans make it affordable for low-income families to purchase Habitat homes.
ReStore HVAC
We need your help to fund improvements to the ReStore!
The ReStore has been Effingham County’s destination for affordable furniture, appliances and building supplies since 2006. However, as an open space without a HVAC system, our loyal customers know it’s quite hot in the summer months!
