Donate

We accept donations of gently used furniture, appliances, household items and surplus construction materials. Donations can be dropped off between 9am and 4pm Wednesday-Saturday. Schedule a donation online by clicking the floating blue button on your screen or call our donation hotline number: 855-908-5040.

Volunteer

We are a volunteer-driven organization. We have volunteer opportunities available at the ReStore Wednesday-Saturday. Volunteers are needed for stocking, cleaning, organizing, and office support. Sign up for a volunteer shift.

The Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County ReStore is located at 3605 Hwy. 21 S in Rincon. The ReStore is open Thursday-Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Proceeds from the ReStore are used to further our mission.

The ReStore is closed today due to the storms. There was some minor damage in the back of the building. Power is expected to be restored later this evening. We thank everyone for their patience as we plan to reopen.
Our Habitat home currently under construction in Guyton received minor damage as well.
In addition, one of our owner occupied homes was damaged when the tree on the neighboring property fell on it. There is damage to the front porch and roof, and the tree also took out the power running to the house. The homeowner has found other lodging while the extent of the damage is being evaluated.
We are grateful everyone is safe.
